Apparently it’s harder these days to keep your marriage intact. More and more people are getting divorced, remarried, and then divorced again. Some people even make a career of it. Well, worry no more… or at least that’s what the proponents of “fixed-term marriage” say. Yep, it’s a fixed-term marital contract renewable every 5-10 years! Whew, at that rate you could have 6 to 10 partners by the time you reach 75 years of age. Then sooner or later we’d all be related. Australia and Germany are seriously thinking about introducing it in their countries. No more expensive divorces, right? Some say it takes away the stress and pressure of marriage, but others say it actually adds to it and even creates deceit between partners.
