Hi Eric. I hear most of the contemporary songs i play at church, radio, and my son’s music collection. I don’t actually have tabs or music sheets for it. Some of the songs I play i learn while playing in our church band, but it’s written out in chords, not tabs. I just try to play it by ear when i record videos in YouTube.
PS… If you’re in Green Cove, our church is really not that far from you. We go to Christ’s Church in Fleming Island, it’s on Roosevelt Blvd/Hwy 17, close to the 220 intersection. small world, huh?

Mike, I stumbled upon your playing on youtube. You have a fantastic ear.

What a small world! I see that you are at Christ’s Church in Fleming Island. I served as an elder at Mandarin Christian Church as we were dreaming and praying about satellite campuses.

I play acoustic guitar with our worship team at Legacy Christian Church in Lakeland, Florida.

Blessings on you! Great to see such a talented player using your gifts in the local church. I love your fingerstyle arrangements of contemporary Christian songs. I’ll keep looking on your channel for new songs.

Hi Saul,
Thanks for the comments. I did go to FIBC before, but we’ve moved to CCFI (Christ Church Fleming Island) early last year. Both good churches, and they’re only miles apart. God bless and more power to your ministry….

Hi Mike,

Stumbled upon your video to “My Tribute” on Youtube, and have become a huge fan. Do you take requests? I will glady pay you to record “The Best Gift” from Barbra Streisand’s Cristmas album. I used to sing this song to my son as a lullabye. Now we’ve got custody issues, and I’m recording a cd for my son, now 8, so that he has his mom with him all the time. I’d like to include this song, but I can’t find an accompaniment track anywhere.

Hi Jeanne. I don’t believe i’ve heard the song before, but i will check it out and try to learn it and post in youtube if I can figure it out. then if you happen to like it, i’ll see if i could put the audio on a CD for you. no need to pay me of course.
